Hi There friends, my name is Dominique Dominguez, and I am very happy to introduce myself as the toddler co-teacher at Green Sprout Preschool. Born and raised in Houston, Tx, I have always been very family oriented, and always around my younger and older cousins. I've always had the nurturing instinct which gravitated me toward the younger children, so that I could care for them and understand their needs and wants. I graduated in 2003, from Incarnate Word Academy, in Houston, Tx, quickly after graduation i moved to San Antonio, Tx but found myself back in Houston not too soon after my move. Once back in Houston, I attended Houston Community College working toward an Associates in Math hoping to transfer to a major college to complete my Bachelors Degree. In 2008, while job hunting, i decided to pack up my things and make the move to beautiful Austin, Tx. I was in need of a change and new job opportunities! This is when I was hired temporarily at Growing Tree Learning Center, starting as a substitute and quickly becoming the new Assistant Teacher in the infant room, along side Toni Tornero. I've always worked with children since my professional employment began and have developed a love and fascination for children and their Early Childhood Development. Since my move to Austin, I've grown in so many new ways and am exploring new things each and every day. Living in the environment I am in everyday has boosted my education and knowledge of children and their everyday development. I am so happy and looking forward to teaching and being involved with your child's learning each and everyday.
