Hey friends! We have had such a wonderful day here at the sprout. We were all able to venture out into the backyard this afternoon with all of our older friends and explore our newly planted garden. Baby Rye also got a surprise visit from his daddy during lunch; he was extremely happy to see him. Miss Toni visited our class today as well and sang a few songs with us before heading outside with us to the backyard. All of the older kiddos were so excited to see the babies outside and eager to interact with them.
Hello Everyone! i hope you are all having a wonderful week! i can't believe its Wednesday already, these days seem to be flying by! :) We have had such a fun filled day, Our morning began with circle time & reading a book titled "BIG,little" our friends really seemed to enjoy when i emphasized on the word BIG and made large arm/hand movements demonstrating the word to them & then changed my tone and arm/hand movements for the word little; it was so awesome seeing them get so excited & be so interested in the story. Shortly after it was time to start on morning bottles & a.m. nap. Once nap time was over we started on lunches for our older guys & afternoon bottles for our younger friends, during lunch Ms.Cherokee & I talked to our friends about spring time and all the wonderful weather we will soon be enjoying. We introduced a new toy for our friends to explore today; a pinwheel! They absolutely loved it & were very eager to touch it & watch it spin and light up. I'm very happy to say that everyone was in great spirits through out the day & overall it was a super awesome day!! Oh gosh i almost forgot to mention that we had some friends from the primary classroom come in and visit us after lunch (Leina & Maya) they were such great little helpers & were very happy to be able to play and visit with the babies. Our friends really enjoyed having them over as well. :)) -Crystal <333 Hey guys!!! Cherokee here reporting from infant land! Today we started our morning in the play area and let our little dudes enjoy some free play. As I prepared bottles, Miss Crystal sat with our guys and read them "Wild Animals," as she made the sounds that all the animals make. As our guys were getting sleepy we sang them our goodnight song to prepare them for nap.
After nap we opened the blinds and sang our good morning song and greeted the sun. All of our little guys woke up in such a great mood after a nice long nap. After lunch Ronav and Miles played with their favorite toy which I like to call the "bead coaster;" I have no idea what it's really called. Finn and Hank got to play in the baby bouncer which was a lot of fun for them. Finn barely touches the floor when he's in it; lol. It wasn't long before it was time for nap # 2. After our second nap we were visited by our friend Miss Abby who comes on Mondays and Tuesdays to teach yoga. While Ronav and Miles finished up their lunches with Miss Crystal, Miss Abby and I took Finn, Hank and Rye out to the backyard to hang out with all of our older friends. It was so much fun watching how excited all the kiddos were to see the babies outside. Shortly after we were joined by Miles and Ronav who received lots of love as well from the older kiddos. We all ended our day outside in perfect weather. Hope you guys enjoy the pics! See y'all tomorrow!!! Much love, Cherokee Hey guys!!! Cherokee here reporting from the baby room once again! I can't even begin to describe how thankful I am to be part of such an amazing community. As you all may already know I was working in the toddler room these past two days, and although I had fun with the toddlers, I couldn't help but think about all of our babies and how much I missed them. Now I'm back and ready to give them all of my love and devotion that has been building up over spring break!
So today we started our morning in our play area and did some tummy time as well as some free play for our older guys. Shortly after we prepared bottles and got our guys ready for nap. After nap we sang our good morning song and did circle time where we read a few books before starting lunch. After lunch, we took our babies outside to explore our garden! Mr. Hank even stuck some of the fresh parsley in his mouth; he decided he didn't like it very much though. After exiting our garden for a little while, we all headed back inside and prepared ourselves for our second nap. Afterwards, our little guys were up and ready to finish out our day. We ended the day with a little bit of yoga stretches and sang our namaste song. Then I brought in one of our potted flowers to let our little guys smell and feel. Ronav seemed to really enjoy this activity and love touching the flower. Until next time friends! Much love, <3 Cherokee P.S. There are more pictures to come! My camera is out of commission at the moment and have been having to use my phone to take pictures and ran out of space. Crystal, however, has been taking pics with her phone so she will be posting those up soon :) thanks guys! Hello my wonderful, beautiful, amazing families!!! Cherokee here once again, but this time the "Married" version! Hahaha! I am so happy to be back and seeing all of our beautiful babies; I missed them as well as you guys so much!!! It has been quite an adventure for me this past spring break with lasting the wedding preparations, but it was all worth it! Now I am back and ready to be reunited with all of our babies once again. Even though I didn't get to spend my first day back in our class, I did visit them throughout the day. One of our staff members was out ill today and I covered for her while Crystal worked with one of our subs. I will be back in the room tomorrow and things will Ho back to normal once again :) I'm so excited to see everyone!!! I missed you all so MUCH!!! Love ya!!! <3 Cherokee Hello Everyone! It feels great to be back in the classroom with all of our lovely babies i missed them so very much! :) i hope everyone had a wonderful spring break! Our friends were quick to adjust considering the long break they had. We had an awesome day, it started out with a book about farm animals and a sensory book titled "little feet like", each of our friends had a turn to experience all the different textures in the book from soft blankets to scruffy towels. Shortly after it was time for morning nap & i began to sing some songs for our friends (twinkle twinkle, ABC's & goodnight babies) as they enjoyed their bottles. After A.M. nap our friends had their delicious lunches/bottles & once lunchtime was over, we headed to our play area for some free play! -Crystal <333 |
