Hi friends! It's been a great start to our week! We celebrated Ronav's 1st birthday yesterday and all of our babies got to wear some really cute party hats.
Today our babies got to play with some homemade shakers. We made shakers out of recycled plastic eggs from Easter. Our babies were having a great time shaking the eggs! During our circle time we read "I Love Spiders." And afterwards we sang the Itsy Bitsy Spider in both English and Spanish. In the afternoon we headed outside to the backyard to for some outdoor playtime. Mr. Hank got to ride on one of the little toy cars in the backyard; he was loving it! Ronav loved scooping up the mulch with his hands and waving it in the air. Miles hung out with Miss Sandy while baby Rye hung with Miss Dom; naturally. Guy, Finn and baby Naomi stayed inside with our amazing sub Alex and played with the egg shakers some more. We look forward to seeing all of our beautiful babies tomorrow! Much love, Cherokee

Hey guys! It's been a great day here in the infant room! We started the day off with miss Crystal showing us her totally cool phone with a baby piano app. Ronav, Finn and Miles loved pressing the keys with all the different notes. Then we sang some songs to begin our transition to nap.
Hello Everyone! Hope you had a wonderful weekend, I'm excited to be starting off another week with our sprouts & celebrating earth day! :) Our morning started out wonderfully Ronav & Miles enjoyed a little snack while Rye,Finn,Hank,Naomi & Guy hiung out & played in the play area. Ms. Cherokee & I sang some songs for our friends (Tiny Turtle & White box) we had lots of fun! After all our fun song & & play was over we headed over to the nap area to have bottles while listening to some books that would help our friends wind down for morning nap. Once morning nap was all done it was time for lunch & afternoon bottles, everyone had a really great lunch that included lots of "chatting" from all of our friends they sound so sweet speaking to each other. We then headed over to our play area once again to listen to some more books, blow bubbles & enjoy lots of freeplay! We later transitioned into afternoon nap & as afternoon nap came to an end we were excited to head outdoors for our earth day celebration!! -Crystal <333 Today has been terrific! We began our morning with some fun songs to jump start our day. We sang the wheels on the bus, Itsy Bitsy spider, and Old McDonald. Ronav got to sit in his big boy chair and enjoyed eating some Cheerios for a light snack before preparing for nap.
As our lil guys and gal were waking up from nap we opened up the blinds and greeted the day. It was raining at the moment so we picked each of them up and showed them the rain. Then we sang "it's raining, it's pouring." After all of our babies had their lil bellies full of lunch we went into our play area and read a book that our friend Finn brought to share with us! It was titled "Casper the Caterpillar." All of our babies really enjoyed listening to the story and looking at all of the colorful pictures. This book also had puppet eyes! It was awesome; thanks Finn!!! Afterwards we all prepared for our second nap of the day. Once all of our lil guys and gal awakened from their slumber we headed over to the play area for some free play. Ronav played with the sunglasses and was trying to put them on his face; it was so cute! Rye got to go outside and visit with Miss Dom from the toddler room. Hank, Naomi and Finn were an excellent audience for me when I began playing the harmonica. As for Guy, well he continued to sleep through all that noise, lol. We have had yet another terrific day here in the baby world! See you guys tomorrow! Much love, Cherokee Hooray for another amazing day with our sprouts! We started our morning singing some fun songs that require interaction & lots of movement from our friends. The song we sang was "jump up & down" (Ms. Cherokee & I each help the babies jump up & down as their name is being sung in the song.) & the next song I'm sure you are familiar with "itsy bitsy spider", after all of our fun song and dance time our friends were very ready for their bottles & a.m. nap. As nap time came to an end, i headed to the lunch area with Naomi,Finn & Ronav and Hank,Rye & Guy got to enjoy their afternoon bottles with Ms.Cherokee. Once all of our friends tummies were full they were so ready to head out and play outdoors! Ms.Cherokee read a book titled "One Tree" which is such a perfect book for our week of learning about recycling and taking better care of our earth, all of our friends were so focused they really enjoyed listening in to the story. Shortly after it was time for afternoon nap. -Crystal <333 Hey guys!!! We have been having a super awesome day here in the baby sprout room! We started our morning with a few songs and some yoga stretches before getting ready for nap.
We are also preparing for our earth day celebration which will be held next Monday @ 4. After our babies woke up from nap, we sang them our good morning song as we greeted the sun. Afterwards we started on our lunch. During lunch we practiced our signs for "eat & more." After lunch, miss Crystal read some books and blew bubbles for Hank and Guy while I took Rye, Finn and Ronav out to the deck for some outdoor exploration. While out on the deck we discovered a beautiful red flower growing on a bush on the other side of the gate. I believe the flower is called a feather duster, but I'm not sure, but its very fitting since the flower actually looks like a feather duster. I also read a book titled "One Tree," because this month and next month we are focusing on earth day concepts. After some fun in the sun we all headed back inside to prepare for our second nap. We ended our day with a little bit of "Selena" music playing in the background since today would be her birthday. For those of you who are not familiar with Selena, she is famous for many songs such as "Como la flor," and "Bidi, Bidi Bom Bom." We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow! Much love, Cherokee Hey friends! Cherokee here and we are all so happy to have miss Crystal back! Things are going great and all of our little guys are in good spirits.
This morning Ronav and Miles both sat in big boy chairs and had some Cheerios for a lite snack before getting ready for nap. They both did extremely well sitting up in those chairs all by themselves; Crystal and I are so proud! While Ronav and Miles were enjoying their snack, Rye, Hank, Finn and Guy hung out with miss Crystal in the play area and did some tummy time. Afterwards, we all prepared for nap time. After nap we sang our Good Morning song and greeted the sun. Shortly after Ronav, Miles and Finn sat in the lunch area and enjoyed their lunches while Hank, Rye and Guy enjoy their milk. We are continuing to practice our signs for "milk, more, help, please, up, eat, and water." I will print out a sheet for you guys so that y'all can practice these signs at home as well. After lunch, we took our guys out to the front entrance deck and observed miss Toni's flowers and plants. While we were outside we talked about the colors of the flowers and plants. We also sang the bumble bee song. We then headed back inside to get ready for our second nap. After second nap Finn, Hank, Guy, and Rye drank their afternoon bottles while Ronav and Miles played in the play area. Once all of our babies were good and ready we did a little bit of yoga stretches and then read a few books. We look forward to tomorrow here in baby town! Much love, Cherokee Hey guys!!!! Cherokee here reporting from the infant class and I'd like to begin by saying I've missed you all so much and it feels great to be back!
First I'd like to take this time to welcome our newest member in our baby family, Guy. He will be one of our everyday babies so you guys will get to meet him at some point. He is also our youngest member of the group. Crystal and I have been teaching our older mobile friends how to use gentle touches when getting to know our younger friends. Ronav and Miles are always very curious about our newest friends. We began our morning with a book which I read in our play area . I read "I Love Spiders." We talked about all the different types of spiders that were in the book and the sang the "Itsy Bitsy Spider" song. Afterwards, we prepared for our first nap. After nap, we sang our Good Morning song and greeted the day. Then we all prepared for lunch. We are continuing to practice our sign language to help our babies communicate with us. Today Ronav almost did the sign for please! Crystal and I were extremely excited. After lunch, we all headed to the play area and had circle time. During circle time we sang our hello song and introduced all of our friends. Then we let our little guys enjoy some free play before getting ready for our second nap. After second nap Ronav and Miles got to play with crayons and practiced drawing on paper. They are also learning how to sit in a big kid chair! Our babies are growing so fast! Even baby Rye is beginning to become more mobile. Today he rolled over and put his hands out in front of him and reached for a book that was lying on the floor. All in all we had yet another fantastic day here in baby town and I look forward to tomorrow. Much love, <3 Cherokee |
