Hooray! for another fabulous day in the infant room!!! We had such fun day from having a dance party & singing/reading plenty of fun songs/stories to splashing water the rest of the afternoon, I'm sure each sprout was exhausted by the end of the day! :) **Have a great weekend & please enjoy the photos!** -Crystal <333

Hello everbody. Today has been a blast! So many activities, so little time. :) We had a painting activity with paint & paper inserted into a Ziploc bag to keep our friends mess free, they had so much fun feeling the texture of the paint spread about the bag. Our following activity included a paper towel tube, pom poms & some bowls! I bet you're wondering what in the world did we do with those items, well we set up a super fun play area on one of our walls as you can see in the photos, everyone enjoyed this activity so very much! All of the babes were so engaged & couldn't get enough of all the fun repetition of placing the pom poms down the paper towel tube and land in the bowls, such a simple activity yet full of developmental exercises! :D -Crystal <333 Hello Friends!! Today has been super fun! We have had so many visitors in our classroom today, from Mr. Kenny & Ms. Cate (our awesome subs!) to Ms. Sandy & our beloved Ms. Cherokee! :D Aside from our usual routine, we had some musical/sensory fun everyone enjoyed making music on the keyboard & visiting with all of our amazing guests. All of the babes responded really well to some of the teachers they don't see very often, I mention this due to some of our friends who are currently experiencing some mild stranger anxiety which is totally normal as you all know. I was very pleased that everyone was so content and didn't have to experience any sad/uncomfortable feelings. Shortly after all the music play, it was time for bottles & naptime. Have a great evening. -Crystal <333 Hello everybody. Happy Wednesday! The title for the blog today was inspired by Rye's shirt, so perfect for the day! Between having a dance party, blowing bubbles and playing peek a boo with our classroom tunnel, it sure has been a fun-filled day! We started our morning out with some yummy snacks before heading over to our nap area, where Ms. Jenn & I sing some quiet time songs such as "Goodnight babies & Twinkle, Twinkle" we have also been reading "Pajama Time" to our friends in our quiet voices to help them relax and unwind while having their bottles. After our first nap and lunch we had lots of free play which included myself and Ms. Jenn making silly faces/sounds for the babes, it was giggle galore in the classroom! Overall it was a very pleasant day, despite the gloomy weather outdoors. Have a great evening! -Crystal <333 Happy Monday everyone! I hope everybody had a fantastic weekend, I would like to add that it was great seeing everyone for parent/teacher conferences, it's so nice to sit & chat about their daily development/progressions & how absolutely adorable they all are. I could go on & on about your sprouts! ;) Today was great, we had a small group of 4 babes & we missed our other 2 dearly! Ms.Jenn & I sang plenty of songs about the weather today, and we held each babe up to the window to get a better view of the rain, as we held them up we explained to them about the rain & why it's important for our earth. Later we went on to have circle time and read our book of the week: "The Very Hungry Caterpillar." everyone becomes very focused during this time it's too cute! Once we're all done reading we sing "TVHC" song, i'll post it for you if you would like. Circle time was a little different today, we originally planned sensory time after lunch, but we were very anxious to let our friends bang on pots & pans with cooking utensils, that they brought in from home for some fun sensory play, the babes really enjoyed this. If you didn't have a chance to bring one in today, no worries we will be exploring these items all week, so please feel free to bring some in! Almost forgot to mention, take a peak in the welcome center when you have a chance we posted our caterpillar project up today, we made little caterpillars from your sprouts toesies!!! <3 Have a great evening, stay dry! ;) **Here is Ms.Jenn's Phone number: 512-954-3737** ***I would also like to take this time to give her an official welcome on here because she is fantastic, the sprouts & I love her! Thanks for being so awesome Jenn, I look forward to getting to know you better!*** -Crystal <333 |
