Wow! What a fantastic week we have had! The Daisies absolutely LOVED our Wild Animals theme this week! They were especially happy when we sang a different version of “Old MacDonald” where he opts out of the farm for a zoo! Haha! It’s so great seeing the babes smiling and laughing with all of our Wild Animal impressions, Enzo has taken to mimicking the elephant sounds. At the beginning of the week we made Hippos out of paper plates and the kiddos got to help us paste on eyes and ears. During circle time we brought out a fun puzzle consisting of Wild Animals that the babies loved exploring! Finnlie was especially fond of it! She enjoyed grabbing two of the pieces and banging them together. Wednesday, Crystal and I started on some exceptionally cute Halloween deco for our room. We painted the kiddos’ feet with green paint and stamp their prints on purple construction, after they dried we added some black for hair and a couple of stitches to make adorable Frankensteins which we dubbed Foot-kensteins. They are so precious! I can’t wait for everybody to see them! On Thursday, Ms. Crystal was out but Ms. Lizzie joined us for the first half of the day and Mr. Nick filled in for the rest of the afternoon. He helped out in our art project where we made the most darling giraffes using the kids’ feet. Enzo celebrated his 1st birthday with us on Friday! His mom got to join us for a special lunchtime and brought delicious cupcakes to share with our friends. Our daisies were super excited when we sang “Happy Birthday” to Mr. Enzo!
