Colors & Hanukkah

Hello Friends

This week was a blast as we continued our Color themed lessons, with Red & Blue being in the spotlight. Crystal and I went around the room looking for red and blue objects to put into a sensory bowl, the babes laughed heartily as we crawled around as they do. Red and Blue balloons were inflated to the kiddos delight. They had so much fun exploring the rubbery feel of the balloon and listening to the squeaks that was their little hands running over the surface of the balloon. Enzo and Parker were particularly fond of them. We also brought in fun soft shapes for the daisies enjoyment. 
This week we also learned about Hanukkah and the traditions that are celebrated. Everyone had a terrific time painting Menorrahs and Stars of David.
 Thursday, we celebrated a double birthday, with Parker and Adele both turning 1. How exciting it is to have two sprouts with the same birthday! The babes enjoyed a special snack that was brought in by Adele's and Parker's parents. They absolutely loved the berries & apples.
