It's okay to be scared sometimes :)

Hey friends! Today we read a book titled "Don't Be Scared Little Cub," and looked at pictures of scared faces. Then we sang "If You're Scared and You know it" and the action we did with it was scream "aaaahhhh!" Our babies were loving this especially the screaming part.

Today Miles walked halfway across the deck all by himself!!! It was magical!!! After I was finished reading our circle time book he got up and tried reaching for it but I scooted back each time to see how far he would go; and he sure did amaze me! I can't believe how fast they are all growing; it makes me sad and yet excited for them.

In the afternoon we painted our scared faces using purple washable paint. Naturally Hank, Finn and Miles were loving it!

Tomorrow we will be looking at some pictures from some of the other classrooms that show children and adults expressing their emotions.

Til next time!
Much love,
Cherokee

Go Miles!! Watching these kiddos grow up is so much fun- but bittersweet at times too.
