![]() Greetings Infant Sprout Families, Welcome to a new week here in the Infant Class. We just got word that our friend Naomi will be starting with us next week! We are all so excited for her to join our crew! Today was a great day full of solid routine and lots of playing! We had free play as all of our friends got dropped up then had a bit of snack as we talked about our game plan for the day! * The babies are definitely of the grazing kind and tend to want to eat a lil something in between transitions/activities, so we are asking that parents please stock your kiddo up with "dry snacks" for teachers to offer throughout the day. This definitely does not take the place of the ever so important distinguinshed eating times (breakfast, lunch) but it does give us options/varieties to offer to your babe! I will be emailing you all a list of finger food ideas as I have seen just about everything and so please do check. Ps. You cannot go wrong with having puffs/mumum/rice cakes, etc on reserve! We had a fantastic morning nap as everyone got 2 solid sleep cycles and we woke up to our favorite songs. We had circle time where we read a few books about the sun as we opened out blinds and windows to let in Mr. Real Sun! The babies stretched and cuddles their way into the afternoon where we then got seated for lunch! We listened to some a variety of music while we chatted about our foods for the day! If your sprout does not all ready bring one each day, please do pack a sippy cup that will be used to offer water throughout the day. After lunch we took advantage of the shinning sun and headed out to our deck for some play time. The babies loved playing peekaboo in the tunnel and enjoyed crawling after all the colorful balls! There was also a tent that was a hit! The babies took turns "hiding" in it and had a good laugh each time baby was found hiding in tent! We got to spend about an hour outside and enjoyed a bit of snack out there then made our way back inside for some cozy nap transitions. The babies had some milk while I read books and sang their good night song.We had another solid nap and woke up to indoor free play! What a day indeed. I am so happy to spend this new Year with such an awesome bunch of babies!!! Much Peace& Love, Toni T
