Magic Monday

Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!  Welcome back to school.  We are very excited that it is chilly outside today.  We are excited to wear our jackets, and scarves, and hats.  We are excited to talk about our shoes with our friends.  We are excited to share our toys with our friends.  This month we are thinking about things that we are thankful for, and here at Green Sprout we are thankful for our community and our classroom.
A few things we did today were: read some books, played outside on the deck, stack the wooden blocks, play some musical instruments, and make shadow puppets with our hands.  It was such a lovely day outside this afternoon, we spent some extra time outside enjoying the sunshine and pushing carts around the deck.  
Another reason we are excited is because tomorrow Miss Jackie comes back to our classroom.  She has been gone way too long, and we are very happy to get to play with her all day tomorrow.  YAY!  In other news, one of the children from the pre-tot room was diagnosed with viral infection walking psnemonia and sinus infection.  I hope everyone is staying healthy out there!
