Greetings families,

It is so nice to be back into the swing of things and very exciting to see our sprouts again after a whole week! All of our new friends have adjusted quite nicely considering the length of the break. On Monday we celebrated St. Patricks day by identifying all of the green items in our room followed by a special circle time book for this day titled My first green book! We ended the day with an art project. We used toilet paper rolls as a stamp for our clovers our older friends were able to help us stamp the bright green color onto a page while our younger friends got to observe and listen to a fun song titled G-R-E-E-N(sung to the tune of B-I-N-G-O) everyone certainly enjoyed themselves. On Tuesday I was only in the classroom during the morning but Ms. Jenn played the harmonica for our friends she said they automatically gave her their full attention as she began to play it. On Wednesday we practiced whistling along to some of our favorite songs such as fly like a butterfly and Tiny Tim with our mouth. On Thursday we made kazoos out of straws we had originally planned to use toilet paper rolls but realized straws were a bit louder. On Friday June brought a ukulele to share with the class and Ms. Jenn brought a guitar to share as well. We started the morning off strumming some relaxing tunes and allowing the babes to give the instruments a couple strums as well, these instruments were a huge hit in the class. Overall it was a lovely week!

*Have a great weekend!*
