Opposites: Up & Down!

Greetings families, 


Yippee to another fabulous week in the infant room! This week we have focused on all things that go UP & DOWN. Some activities we did that incorporated the theme, were- bouncing balloons & blowing bubbles all the way up to the ceiling and then watched them as they would glide back down to the ground. 


Throughout the entire week we sang and danced to some fun songs that talk about these particular opposite directions, including "the wheels on the bus & jump up & down" these songs were perfect for this week's curriculum because they required us to use plenty of up and down motions with our entire body. I can tell the babies sure enjoyed the parts in the song when we would lift them way up to the ceiling and then back down to the floor because their little faces sported the biggest smiles ever!
