Hello, Friends!
We've had a lovely week in the classroom. This week was completely focused on helping with household chores; although our daisies are a bit too young to actively help around the home we had a lot of fun introducing them to these activities, plus they made for great practice of various skills such as hand eye coordination, sensory & pincer grasp. Throughout the week we've allowed the daisies to "help" us wipe down the table after lunch. Another activity we enjoyed introducing was setting out a few items that require to be swept up, everyone was really mainly interested in stroking the fibers of the sweeper though! Lol (which was a new one that we used to mock our usual one.) We also had them "help" put their toys away AKA place their toys back to their homes. We demonstrated only once and they got the hang of it right away! Overall it was a very productive week. Song of the week: Clean Up! Clean up, clean up. Everybody everywhere. Clean up, clean up. Everybody do your share. (2x's) May you have a wonderful weekend, I look forward to seeing you on Monday! <3 :) Love, Crystal **PS. pictures should be uploaded soon, the website is currently experiencing technical difficulties. **
