Greetings infant families, I hope everyone had a wonderful week, we certainly have! Ms. Jenn & I are very excited to begin talking about all sorts of shapes for the upcoming weeks and this week was all about the circle shape! Throughout the week we focused on bringing in all sorts of items that have a round or circular shape into the classroom for the babes to explore, such as our Montessori rings on an arch toy & bubbles. We read plenty of books that incorporate circles, springtime and not biting our friends or parents, one of our books was in Spanish as well. We celebrated Claire's birthday on Thursday, it was a blast she brought in a special snack to share with her older friends and our younger friends still got to enjoy the celebration by having a bottle and listening to the happy birthday song we serenaded Claire with. We ended the week with an art project, our friends started by dipping toilet paper rolls into some squishy paint and stamping it onto a sheet of paper which then left a circular shape, it was very exciting to see their reaction as the paint stained the sheet. :) Have a lovely weekend!
