Happy Thursday everyone! I hope everyone is having an awesome week so far! Today was a pretty relaxed, routine day. We had a pretty good morning for drop offs. We have some new friends in our room, and it's only natural that they feel separation anxiety in the beginning, but just like our regulars they too will get it very soon. Also, a little secret the kiddos don't want you to know... they stop crying right after you leave. So don't feel nervous about leaving your child upset, usually it takes them a whole 1-2 minutes to calm down and start having a good time. They mostly cry to show you that they care. In addition, if you are having trouble with drop offs, a suggestion is to do the same thing everyday/ say the same thing. Your child will definitely pick up on these small similarities from day to day. On another note, our days are becoming routine again. We are glad that the holidays are over, and we can start getting back into a regular sleep schedule. Except for Monday of course, we will be closed. I hope this doesn't throw off our progress! I'm sure our kiddos will be ready to get back into our routine come Tuesday. :) We have had a beautifully relaxed day. It was very routine day with lots of reading books, singing songs, and giving cuddles.
