We've Got Spirit, Yes We Do

Helloooo Everyone!  Welcome to Thursday!  Our weeks are just flying by!  Next week is Thanksgiving!!  Well we had yet another fabulous Thursday here at the Sprout.  We started off our day playing chase around the room.  Genevieve and Jackson played peek a boo behind the bookshelf.  Tula, Miles, and Judah watched from across the room smiling and laughing with them.  Judah worked on his walking skills taking a few steps from the exer-saucer over to the music area.  Tula was jamming out on the keyboard belting out a few vocal melodies, while Miles got some tummy time and rattled some shakers.
In the afternoon our energies wound down a bit and we read a bunch of stories.  Jackson insisted that we read I Love You Daddy about ten times through.  I'm sure the others didn't mind.  Tula spent time reading books solo, while a few others gathered around to hear a book read by Mike.  Today was a very busy reading day.  We also sang a few songs.  They were really excited about the "Apples and Bananas" solo that I did.  We also had fun getting into the exersaucer and pushing it around the room.
As for current news for the day, Tula has started taking a few steps!  It seems like we're going to have more walkers than crawlers soon.  Jackson said Mike's name today, and  Genevieve is telling us when she has poop; bonus.  Judah is also taking a few steps around the room, and Miles is showing some initiative by grabbing the toys that interest him.  Yes, we are all growing up before your very eyes.  Don't blink, or you might just miss it.
