Kinderbud Poppies
Guide to Student Ratio: 1:11
Maximum of 22 students in a classroom with two guides

At this point in a child’s development, your sprout is prepared for more advanced Montessori Works that explore the five key areas of study:  Language Arts, Mathematics, Science/Social Studies, Practical Life and Sensorial on a more refined level. At this age, students begin showing an interest in the fundamentals of reading, writing and mathematics and we want to do everything we can to support them on this journey.

Our Kinderbuds have become confident in expressing their feelings and emotions, speaking clearly and using complex sentences. We work to foster a safe, loving and peaceful environment to continue to support their social emotional development. In the Kinderbud Classroom, our sprouts are able to have longer circle times, deeper classroom discussions, more complex group and individual projects, and more responsibility in the classroom.
