Creating a partnership among our
families and teachers is crucial in laying the foundation for a positive sense of community at Green Sprout Preschool. It is important to involve parents in their children’s lives at school as well as offer support for healthy relationships with children at home.
Although Green Sprout Preschool is not a Co-op, we offer many opportunities for our parents to get involved in their child’s life at school.
We understand that it can be a challenge for parents to find time in their busy schedules to commit to volunteering at their child’s school, which is why it is not obligatory. If parents have a spare hour in their morning, we welcome you to join us for morning circle. We want our parents to see what goes on in their child’s day at school. It is also very special for our students to share these experiences with their moms and dads.
We encourage communication between our families. Creating opportunities for parents to meet and mingle, such as during our morning and afternoon drop-off and our monthly potlucks, provides a secure environment for parent-to-parent interaction and communication.
