Today started off with morning drop-offs inside. We've decided to give indoor drop-offs a try for a while as we have observed that some of our friends may be feeling a little over stimulated by the amount of kids outside during that time. We will be doing indoor drop-offs tomorrow as well since this morning went so well. However, next week we may do on the deck drop-offs and have a sensory activity ready for the kiddos when they arrive.

After playing inside for a little while and doing our routine diaper checks, we headed outside to explore our backyard. The kids had a great time learning how to climb up and down the stairs and ramp! I think by the end of this month Clara will master walking up the ramp by herself while holding onto the rail. They also rolled balls down the ramp as we talked about the speed of the balls and their shape. They still enjoyed playing in the wet sand as they squished it in their hands.

During lunch, we practiced our signs; 'more please' as we ate our delicious food.  After lunch, we let our food settle as we read books, then went down for nap.

When we woke up from nap, we had a special snack, homemade pizzas! YUM!  Followed by our weekly Spanish lesson with our friend Leona. We sang songs in Spanish and played with homemade shakers brought by Leona.

When we said adios to our friend Leona, we had arts and crafts time.  We experimented with the sound and texture of tissue paper.  We had tons of fun gluing the tissue paper to construction paper!

We ended our day on the deck with a sensory table full of water!

See you tomorrow!

Looks like another fun day!! Olive comes home happy and tired, all the marks of a good time! We love seeing the pictures of their activities, and so do the grandparents. Thanks for sharing!
