buckets, animals and colors

Hello families!

Today turned out to be beautiful! The morning was a bit wet so we stayed inside until after nap. We managed to have lots of fun anyways. Jackson and Genevieve had a blast putting a green bucket on their heads and calling it a hat. They enjoyed putting it on their teacher’s heads as well. During circle time we filled the bucket with several green objects and talked about each one. Each child got to hold one of the objects and then we put them next to each other in the middle of the circle and saw how they were all shades of green. After circle time we set each child up at the table with a couple of toy animals or some color swatches. They all had a blast banging the animals on the table and making animal noises. Kai had a great dinosaur noise.

After nap time and snack we put on sun screen and headed out to the playground. Wynn found the sensory tray which had some water in it and he immediately started splashing his hands in it. Soon a group gathered around the sensory table and someone dumped a shovel-full of sand in the water, making it muddy. Judah made some calls on the phone and Hunter chatted with her teachers.

Enjoy the pics and have a great night!

Best,

Magdalen
