Great to be BACK!!!!

I’m back!!! I missed everyone so much while I was away and it feels so great seeing everyone again. I also brought back a poster of a resort in Cozumel to show all of our kiddos. Cozumel was absolutely stunning, I have never seen water that so beautiful and blue before and it was quite the experience. Got a little sea sick here and there but it all turned out great for the most part.

So we started the morning outside and spent some time playing with all of our friends. Sophie enjoyed playing with an empty bottle of bubbles and was pretending to blow bubbles out of the bubble wand. Gage had a great time playing on the big playscape this morning and walking up and down the ramp. Shortly after, we all headed inside for snack and circle time. During snack we sang the “Days of the Week” song and then did the weather right after. Today we had cantaloupe for snack and Miss Arielle brought in some hard boiled eggs to share with all of us since today we are learning about the oval shape. At circle time we sang the “Hello song” and “The Itsy Bitsy Spider.” We also looked at a bunch of oval shapes that we found around our room and in books. Afterwards, we all headed outside to the deck.

Out on the deck we let the kiddos enjoy some free-play. Gage and Wynn spent some time playing in the kangaroo climber. Wynn loves crawling through the bottom hole in the kangaroo climber. Hunter rode on the little red fire truck that we have on the deck for a little while and then decided to cuddle with Miss Arielle. Sophie spent some time pushing around one of the little push cars that we have and then rode on the little rocking horse. Olive wanted to sit with Miss Dom, and Miss Dom bounced her on her knee; Olive seemed to really enjoy this. Shortly after, I went inside with two of our little guys who had a fever and weren’t feeling too well. I stayed inside with them to make sure they were comfortable and rest while their parents came to pick them up. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to be outside with our other kiddos, but Miss Arielle was out there to ensure all of our friends had a good time. They were also joined by the toddlers while out on the deck, and by looking at the pictures Miss Arielle took, it seems that they all had a great time. Soon after it was time for lunch and nap time.

After nap, we will possibly have a music session with Miss Jackie who likes to bring her guitar on Fridays and play for the kiddos. Then we will probably do some art on some oval shaped paper.

I look forward to next week, because next week we will be introducing animals! Monday we will be learning about cows.

I look forward to seeing everyone next week!

Much love,

<3 Cherokee

*Two of our friends went home early this morning with a fever over 100.0. It may be contagious because a sibling of one of our kiddos also has a fever over 100.0. We are not sure what it is exactly so just keep a close eye on your kiddos this weekend just to be on the safe side.
