Happy Mother's Day!

Hello there families!

We would like to wish all you moms a happy Mother's day! We love you all and are so grateful to have you as part of our community! 

This morning the kids were surprised to see both Magda and Sandy at school at the same time. We had a fabulous day filled with cooking, fun in the sun, books and arts and crafts. First, Liz came in for a cooking project. We mixed baked apples, granola and dried cranberries together to make a yummy snack. Then we headed outside to soak up some rays. Our friends are much more comfortable outside now that the new fence in place. 

In the afternoon we rolled toilet paper rolls in green paint so we can make grasshoppers. We'll finish them next week! 

Here are a few things our friends enjoyed doing today:

Kai--cooking on the playground and laughing with his friends
Wynn--digging in the sand in the sensory table and getting a ride on the back of Sophie's bike
Hunter--going down the slide and playing with her new toy dog
Genevieve--finding all the hula hoops and dragging them around the playground and laughing with Tula
Sophie--cooking, both on the playground and with real food in the classroom
Tula--Peeking through the holes in the Kangaroo climber and laughing with Genevieve
Julia--giving snuggles and reading books with her teachers

I will not be at Green Sprout next week, but Sandy will be subbing for me on Monday and Wednesday and Cate will be there on Friday. I'll miss you guys but I'll be back the following Monday.
