Just Hunter today!

Today only one pre-tot showed up to school due to the stomach bug that a few friends have. Hunter and Arielle hung out in the preschool room today. She was alongside her big brother, was pleased to be of assistance in showing her what life in the primary room was like. Cherokee worked with the toddlers.

We hung out on the playground first thing this morning and had a Michael Jackson dance party, then headed in for snack (in the primary room.) She had snack (watermelon and cheerios) in between Tristan and his good friend, Dax. Then she and Arielle worked together in the pre-tot room (she played and Arielle prepared for the next week’s activities.) Hunter played with toy animals, read books, talked to herself, and did lots of art with black markers. She even sang (what seemed like) the alphabet song as she worked! It was adorable. We spent about 15 in there as she had a blast having the entire room to herself (with exception to me.) Then we returned to the primary room and she played with blocks with Tristan, Rhys and Dax.

She ate lunch in the spot where she had snack, and slept in the primary room. When she woke up she read books on her nap mat and assisted Arielle in helping the big kids who were already awake.  Afterwards we celebrated Caden’s birthday and last day (we’ll miss him!) by eating popsicles that he brought in, and pizzas that we made! Then she played with the primary class for the rest of the day. It was fun! We sure did miss our other friends, though. I hope everybody has a healthy weekend!
