Monday!

Today was a blast! Our friend Sophie is back from her vacation! YAY! We've all missed her beautiful energy in the class! : )
We started the morning off in the backyard as usual! It's such a great way to start the day!

Hunter found a horse and walked around saying "neeiiiighhh"
Genevieve was pretty interested in the Lego table, looking at the sides of the Lego's like "hmMm, i seeeee"
It's a joy to see their little minds work!

Back inside, we had circle time with our usual songs and then brought out many types of instruments for our friends to explore. The xylophone, drums, piano, rain stick and shakers!
Genevieve and Kai enjoyed the little bongos. We showed them how the drums sit in their lap and how to play them by hitting the drum with your palm! Naturals!
Tula played the colorful, wooden xylophone! She would run the mallet back and forth across the notes to make a really cool song! 
Jackson and Wynn were so sweet playing a song together on the piano! : )

Tomorrow, I'm going to bring in my little record player and show our friends how it works!
