Monday!

Good Evening Families!

Today was a great day! The weather is changing again and getting hotter, but the mornings are so nice. 
Ms. Magdalen was not feeling well today, so Mike filled in for her! Our friends really love Mike and had a lot of fun playing and learning with him in the morning. 
For morning snack we had Bananas and Strawberries...our friends are doing such a fantastic job asking "more, please" either by sign or talking. So polite! : )
During circle time we sang our usual songs and read a book about colors. I pointed at pictures of different colored objects and then compared it to something in the classroom, like Tula's yellow shirt.
Our friends really enjoyed when I pointed out what color clothes they were wearing!
After a yummy lunch and an aaamazing nap, Miss Abby came for Yoga! She read "Brown Bear" by Eric Carle and did yoga poses that matched the animals in the book. They loved this! Everyone loved doing dog and cat pose and jumping up and down like frogs! Little Yogi's!!
In the afternoon, Kate came for a play date! After a little snack and plenty of sunscreen, we went outside to play! 
Outside we made tents over the playscape and climbing dome for some shade and fun! Genevieve pointed at them and said "Tee-pees!!" 
Wynn, Jackson and Hunter hung out in the sandbox under the big tree to stay cool!
