Greetings, here from the pre-tot class! I hope everyone had a great weekend! I am so thankful to be able to spend another week in this class playing, laughing, singing, dancing, and creating with your beautiful children. As most of you know Cherokee has been sick, I apologize I wasn’t able to get the blog up for yesterday.
We had so much fun on the playground in the morning playing in the wet sandbox! We made sand castles and talked about why the sand was wet and how thankful we are that we got the much needed rain this past weekend! During snack, because we had so few kiddos in this class we got to eat snack in the toddler room! The kids really enjoyed eating with the older kids. We went outside again to play then came back to our classroom to get ready for lunch. In the afternoon we sang many songs about rain. Following circle time, singing and dancing we made our own rain clouds with cotton balls and glitter! The kids really adored tearing apart the cotton balls and gluing them on the paper. Even though our class was small, we had an enormous amount of fun! See you tomorrow, Lizzie
