What a gorgeous morning we’ve had! The weather was so cool and sunny that we decided to have our snack outside picnic style! Today we also welcomed our newest member of the pre-tot class, Noah! We also had another fantastic picture day and took a picture with all the classes.

This morning Noah was greeted with a warm welcome by all of our friends out in the backyard this morning, even one of our toddler friends, Theo, spent some time getting to know him.  Noah spent most of his morning cuddling with Arielle and myself and observing all of his new surroundings.

Olive walked around the entire playground and went up and down the playscape playing with toys that she found along her way. There was one moment (and I wish I would have caught this on camera) where she sat in a little plastic bin and was playing with one of the small trucks; it was very cute.

Wynn made me laugh this morning because he was looking through the boards on the playscape and pressing his face against them and he made the funniest little face (This I did catch on camera).

Sophie was like a little ray of sunshine this morning. She was walking around the playground with the biggest smile and waving to some of the teachers including myself. I was very touched by it.

Clara really enjoyed snack today! We had grapes and honeydew, and she was filling her little cheeks up like a little chipmunk, lol. She looked absolutely adorable!

Ancel did a little bit of everything this morning. He spent some time climbing up and down the stairs, going down the slide, picking leaves from the garden, and pouring sand into one of the cupcake trays we have outside. Poor little guy was so tuckered out, that by lunchtime he was practically falling asleep at the table, lol. I had barely got to changing his diaper before he fell asleep.

In the afternoon we practiced sitting down in a chair while we are eating. We are trying to teach the kiddos that when we eat we must stay in our seat or show us a sign to let us know that they are “All done” with eating. This is something you guys may want to practice at home as well so that way they can get used to doing this during our snack and lunch times. Afterwards, we all went out on the deck and joined the infants in some bubble play time! Olive and Sophie loved helping Miss Arielle blow the bubbles. We were actually hoping to do some pink paint art work in the afternoon; however, we didn’t have any white paint to mix with red. Things worked out pretty well though; our kiddos were just as happy playing outside with the bubbles. All-in-all, I would say that we’ve had a very successful day here at the sprout and all of our lil tots were happy!

Tomorrow we will be introducing the color orange. So if your kiddo has any orange they can wear, feel free to bring them in it.

Have an awesome day guys!
