Hello families! Another beautiful day here at the sprout and all of our little sproutlets were enjoying every minute of it. Miss Arielle wasn’t here today because she wasn’t feeling too well, but she has informed me the she should return tomorrow refreshed and ready to go!

We started the morning outside as usual and spent about 30 minutes playing outside with all of our friends. Hunter and I played a quick game of screaming peek-a-boo on the playscape. When I would poke my head out and scream, she would copy me and laugh hysterically.

Noah is definitely getting comfortable with his new surroundings and environment! This morning he was exploring the entire playground and playing with all sorts of toys. He seemed to be really enjoying himself.

After playing outside for a little while, we headed in for snack and circle time. Today we introduced the color orange and sang the “A B C’s” as well as the “Hello” song. Then we all headed out to the deck and played with balloons! It’s amazing how the simplest little things, such as a balloon, can make a child’s whole face light up with joy. I blew the balloons up with a balloon pump, and Olive was very interested in this so I let her give it a try. She loved it when I used it to puff some air in her hair; HA, I rhymed lol! In fact, when the others saw this they wanted to join in on the fun. I used the pump to blow air into all of their hair and they were having a blast. Sophie was so excited and began running around shaking her head smiling really big. Then we headed back inside to eat lunch and get ready for nap.

In the afternoon, we spent some time drawing with orange colors. Shortly after, Miss Leona came for Spanish! Ancel was so excited when she walked in; it was so cute! He had this great big smile and began running towards her; she was very flattered. During Spanish, we got to sing “Hola Amigo,” “La Arana Pequenita,” “Tic Toc Hace Reloj,” and “Adios.” While we were singing the “Hola Amigo” song, Wynn started dancing in his chair and shaking his little tush; cutest thing ever!

After Miss Leona left, we all put on our sunscreen and bug spray and got ready to end yet another beautiful day outside. Tomorrow we will be painting with orange paint, so be ready for your kiddo to be orangified!
