Hey guys! It’s been a great day here at the sprout. Everyone is healthy and all of our kiddos here are having a good old time! This morning was a little wet from the rain last night and the dirt that was in the sensory tub turned into mud. Sophie had a ball squishing the mud between her hands; she has no fear of getting dirty.

This morning it looked as if it was going to rain, so when it came time for snack we decided to have snack outside and enjoy the weather before it did.  The kiddos really enjoyed having their snack outside especially since they could go straight back to playing right after. Then we brought some bubbles out and Hunter went crazy with excitement! It was super cute to watch her try to catch the bubbles and scream (in a very excited way) at the bubbles. Shortly after we headed in for diaper changes and then went out to the deck.

On the deck Sophie, Wynn and Hunter were attracted by the plants we have out there and spent some time touching the leaves and feeling how smooth they were. Later we were joined by a friend from the primary room, Paige. Shortly after, Ancel and Olive started a jamming session on the big drum which led to all the kiddos jamming out on that big drum.

After playing out on the deck for a while, we headed in for lunch. Wynn, Ancel and Sophie loved the toys that Noah brought in to share. Noah bought in a rainbow stacker and a shape puzzle which all of our friends got to enjoy. Thank you Noah!

Later we will be using different colored chalk for drawing and making pictures on pieces of paper cut in the shape of a circle. Tomorrow we will be introducing the shape “Square” and playing with legos and using colored pencils. So if your kiddo has any clothes that have any squares or square shaped patterns feel free to put it on them. Thank you guys for being the awesome parents you are!
