Outside!

Sorry this is getting out here so late...I thought I posted it last night but I guess I forgot to hit "publish"

It was too chilly to start our day outside again today, so we went out after snack and stayed outside until lunchtime! Our friends love the outdoors! We checked on all the new plants in the garden and showed our new friend Julia around. Julia was visiting us today from the baby room where she used to be classmates with some of the current pre-tots. Genevieve was particularly excited to see Julia and gave her several hugs throughout the day. Julia will be with us again on Friday as she gets ready to join our class. Julia was excited to see her big sister Miya out on the playground and Miya watched out for Julia. Kai rode one of the scooters around until Rhys wanted to ride it, so Kai traded the scooter for a train whistle. Jackson had a blast going down the slide. He asked for help getting started, but flew down without any fear. Tula and Hunter played in the sandbox, trying lids on as hats and manipulating legos. Sophie got to watch everyone from quite a vantage point when Dom picked her up at the top of the playscape. Wynn concentrated hard as he steered his boat on the high seas, then he took off down the slide. Judah smiled as I showed him himself on my phone.

Everyone is talking so much these days! It is so much fun for us teachers to hear their vocabularies develop!

Stay warm, everyone!
