rainy day friday

Happy Friday!

Since it was rainy all day today we had to stay  inside. This meant that we got to do some fun projects. In the morning we joined up with the toddlers for an art project using old toilet paper roles. Not only was the art project a blast, but the pre-tots got to spend some time with their friends who recently moved up to the toddler room :)

This afternoon Ms. Liz came in for a cooking project. We spread hummus on rice cakes and gave each child some shredded carrots, lettuce leaves, avocado slices, and tomatoes to put on the rice cakes. This snack was a big hit with everyone, kids and teachers!
