Today we continued to learn about helpers in our community with a lesson on mailmen and the mail. Ms Ashley made an awesome mailbox and the kids had a blast putting envelopes through the slot. We also sang the traffic light song, which has been a big hit with the kids. We have noticed that many of the children have been singing songs on their own, either during play or in response to our singing. It is so exciting to hear them develop these new skills!
We have been working a lot on taking turns, as it often happens that many of our friends want to use the same object at the same time. We are working on building their language around asking for turns and letting their friends know when they are using something and are not ready to share. Everyone's language is really taking off! In the afternoon we had another splash day, which was a lot of fun as always. Our friends are more comfortable with the water each time we have a splash day and they are all really starting to enjoy it! Have a great night everyone! <3 Magdalen
