Slimy Spaghetti

We had another great Wednesday at Green Sprout. To continue our conversation about textures we added some cooked spaghetti to our sensory tub to feel how slimy it is. The kids had a blast sticking their hands in the tub, grabbing big clumps of noodles and letting them slide out of their hands. The toddlers even joined us for some slimy fun!

In the afternoon we had splash day, which is always a lot of fun. The children are really loving the pools and they are becoming more and more comfortable in the water!

We have noticed that several children are coming to school on splash day with only one pair of shoes. They are water shoes, so that is great, but the children seem a little uncomfortable putting those shoes back on when they are still wet.  If possible, it would be great if you could send your sprout with a second pair of shoes on splash days so that their feet can be dry when we go back outside.
