Hey everyone! I apologize in advance because this blog probably won’t be as elaborate as the others you have read. Arielle is a very talented writer and unfortunately I’m not nearly as talented as she is when it comes to writing.

So today we started on the playground as usual; Olive was having a blast watering the garden this morning with some help from a friend in the toddler class. Wynn was exploring how the hula hoops worked and seemed to enjoy pushing them around the playground. Clara went straight for the sandbox and found a small cup to pick up sand and pour it.

After going inside for snack and diaper changes I put on a puppet show for the kiddos! I wish I could have taken pictures of it but my hands were busy being the puppetsJ. It was so fun to watch how intrigued they were about the whole thing. Ancel and Clara came up to the puppets on my hands and gave them hugs; it was super cute! Wynn and Olive looked astonished as they were gazing at my hands with the puppets on them.

We then had community book time and read books as a group. I read “The Big Sparkly First Words Book” with them and pointed to the pictures and said the word that matches it multiple times. Olive is really attracted to the Sesame Street books; they are always the first ones she picks up.

After nap we played in the room for a bit before snack, then I borrowed the tunnel from the toddler class and they had so much fun! At first when I brought it in they kind of stared at it for whole minute, then when they realized it was big enough to crawl in they just went to town! Clara wanted to stay in the tunnel the entire time, but she came out eventually when she saw her peers crawling through itJ.

Then at around 4 o’clock Ancel and Olive did some water color painting! Olive seemed to have a lot of fun squeezing the foam paintbrush with the colored water onto her paper; I thought it was a very unique way to paint. Ancel, when he wasn’t trying to put the paintbrush in his mouthJ, did some beautiful splatters of water color on his paper.

All in all, the day went very well!

*Also, please bring in a sunscreen stick with their name on it so we won’t mix them up. Thanks!
