Hey guys! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. This is a very exciting week for us because we have some new friends in our class; Genevieve and Jackson! Both have been having such a great transition period and have been adapting to our classroom and our routines very well.

This morning the kiddos enjoyed some free-play before heading in for snack. Wynn walked around the backyard and found a dandelion and picked it. Hunter found some green chalk and began drawing on the side of the building and creating a beautiful masterpiece. Ancel played with some of the blocks in the sandbox and built a 2 block tower.  Jackson and Genevieve enjoyed singing songs with Dom and me; Genevieve was even shaking her little bottom to the beat. Olive spent her time pouring mulch into a little bucket. Gage and I had a little session of peek-a-boo on the playscape. Sophie went down the big slide all by herself today as I watched her; she was so proud of herself and so was I. Soon it was time to head inside for snack and circle time.

During snack we were joined by our friend Noah! Noah was just in time to help us sing the “Days of the Week” song and count the number of days we are at in December. After snack we all headed to the carpet for circle time. Today we showed pictures of mice and sang “Three Blind Mice.” Then Miss Cate, who was temporarily stepping in for Arielle who was doing Kinder Blossom with some of the primary, read “Sesame Street: Eyes & Nose, Fingers & Toes.” Then we all headed to the backyard to explore different things found in nature.

In the afternoon, we will be making a nature collage from things that our kiddos found outside and stick them onto contact paper. Tomorrow we will using glitter and paint for our art and sensory experience as well as learning about ducks and looking at pictures of them.

See you guys tomorrow!

P.S.

I am so sorry that there aren't any pictures for today. I accidently left my camera along with my purse at home and wasn’t able to take any pictures. :(
