12-19 An Old Friend Comes to Visit

Hola parents!  This morning we had a blast outside enjoying the wonderful windy weather! The Shining Star's had a special visitor today, Caden came to Green Sprout and will be with us for the rest of the week!  How exciting!  Everyone was so happy to see him! All the kiddos were having so much fun we decided to eat snack outside as a school!  After we filled our bellies with our delicious snack we continued to play outside.  Playing baseball was a big activity this morning. Leina can really hit the ball far!  Miya and Maya were on the hunt for rollie pollies while Tristan acted as if he was Woody from Toy Story with his cowboy hat on. 
We came inside to start our art project.  We can't go into too much detail about this project because its a secret :) Lets just say the Shining Star's had an absolute blast painting as a class.  Once we all cleaned up the table we put on our shoes and headed out to the deck to release some energy before lunch time and nap.  During lunch Caden told us all about his new school , everyone was very interested to hear all the details he shared with us. 
The Shining Stars spent the afternoon with Miss Toni and Mrs. Leona singing songs and having an absolute blast!  Mrs. Leona taught us a new song where we have to position our bodie4s in many different silly ways! The kiddos absolutely LOVED this new song!
We certainly hope everyone's day was as great as ours here in the Shining Star room!  See everyone tomorrow :)
