Another Marvelous Monday!

Hola! It has been another marvelous Monday here in the Primary room!  This week we are continuing our unit of "Self Awareness', this week we will be focusing on how to take care of our bodies with good hygiene and how to protect our friends from our germs. We will also be discussing people in the community who help us take care of our bodies This morning on the playground all the kiddos had a great time acting as if they were making ice cream for all their teachers and friends.  Everyone has really fallen in love arranging the hula hoops so we can jump from one to another!  What a great game!    Once we came in for snack we got to pick new helper jobs for our chart!  The lil kiddos really take pride in completing their job each day.  During circle time this morning we had show and tell.  Once again,  we practiced respect towards our friends as each child had their turn informing our class what they brought.  We went outside once again to release some energy we had!  The whole class played together, acting as if they were a family taking care of one another! HOW SPECIAL!!  After we woke up from nap, during snack we discussed why it is important to wash our hands, the kiddos gave specific times when they wash their hands and why it is very important to do so.  After snack we had independant play in our centers.  Leina and Tristan immediately went to the writing center to work.  Maya and Colette worked together to dress up magnet bears with different outfits while Miya and Zoey explored the materials in our art center.  Caden and Ryse played together in the math center counting tiles and making patterns with them while Paige and Colette built in the construction center.  We had such a great day to start off the week!
