Egg Hunt and Spring Celebration

We have had an absolutely fabulous Friday here at the Sprout!  We started our day off outside with a dance party with the help of Ivy's mix cd, thanks Ivy!  While outside we decorated ourselves with Springtime stickers to get ready for our egg hunt this afternoon.

Once most of our friends arrived we headed inside for snack and got ready to dye our eggs.  Each kiddos got to dye two eggs themselves.  They picked out which color they wanted and dropped the eggs in to watch the shell change colors.  The Shining Stars did a great job being patient as their friends had their turn with the dye.  Our eggs turned out amazing, we even used a special crayon to write everyone's names on their individual eggs.

This afternoon we quickly rolled up our nap mats and ate snack so we could have plenty of time to hunt for our eggs in the backyard.  The Shining Stars ran around finding so many eggs they could hardly keep them all in their baskets!  They also were very helpful with the younger kiddos, guiding them in the direction of eggs.  We all had so much fun during our egg hunt.  A big thank you to all the parents who brought in eggs for us to hunt!
