Family Meeting w/ Miss Toni about Safety

During lunch today Miss Toni came to sit and chat with us about what happened on Monday with our fence.  The Shining Stars were not outside on the playground at the time of the incident.  Miss Toni told us the story of the man who was driving the truck and that he was not being safe driving and drove into our fence.  The Shining Stars quickly raised their hands to talk about how you can be safe while driving or riding in the car.  We then discussed who we should call in an emergency, all the Shining Stars knew exactly who they could call during an emergency or for help.  We also discussed how we would get a hold of the police or firemen; by dialing 911.  All the kiddos were very vocal and involved when discussing safety.  The Shining Stars really know how to keep themselves and the others around them safe!
