Happy April

Happy April everyone!  I hope everyone had a great Easter weekend.  This week we will  be beginning our letters of the week with Aa.

Today our friend Dax brought back the Secret Sack.  We guessed what item he had in the sack during snack time this morning.  His clues were !.  Its red, white, and blue 2. it's round but not soft.3. you kick it.
Leina guessed a ball and Maya guessed a book, Leina was correct! It was a soccer ball, thanks Dax for an awesome Secret Sack!

Once we finished snack we headed over to circle time for Show and Tell.  The Shining Stars really went over the top today with their Show and Tells today.  Once every kiddo got a turn to talk about their item and show it to their friends we quickly moved to centers.  All the Shining Stars are still really enjoying all the costumes we have in the classroom, dressing up in a different outfit every day.  While we were in centers Dax, Leina, Maya, and Zoey went to Kinder Blossom with Arielle.  Once they returned we all got ready to go outside and enjoy this beautiful weather we are having today. 

While outside, the Shining Stars helped Kenny spread mulch around the slide.  Once the teamwork happened we got this job done super quickly.  Kenny was very appreciative of all the hard work and the Shining Stars showed !

After snack we were ready to stretch our bodies with Abby during yoga.  Nick and Abby were very impressed today with all the enthusiasm the Shining Stars showed today!

Today was an absolute blast and the perfect way to kick off another great week here at the Sprout!
