MONDAY:
We started our week, going straight into montessori/group work time!
Group A- I introduced the letter Tt, as we brainstormed words that start with letter Tt. and writing them down on the board. Our favorites were Tula, Tiger, and Tree!
Group B - Brainstormed T words as well, while also making some Tiny Triangle Art, choosing from a variety of sizes and gluing them onto paper.
Kinder Blossom - they brought out the moveable alphabet, spelling words that being with T, and also working together to spell out HAPPY HALLOWEEN. They then went to the playground and practiced writing letter Tt in shaving cream, which is great sensory exploration!
After nap, we gathered for our family meeting, while Ms lizzie explained the art activity for the afternoon! Letter Tt, tire tracks! Friends would take a car, dip it in paint, and roll the tires on the paper! it was a big hit!
TUESDAY: Today started with Towel folding during Montessori time, practicing our fine motor skills, we also practiced our writing with some letter Tt and flour exploration during Montessori time. Friends would trace the letter with two fingers, then repeat the motion in the flour exposing different colors in the background that formed the letter Tt. Once we moved into group time, we went through our letter Tt box, and then worked on Toilet paper roll art, dipping the rolls in paint and making designs on paper.
Group B - explored their letter Tt box, then went to the deck and enjoyed a fun Tea party!

After nap, Ms Vanessa joined us on the deck for yoga in the beautiful weather! She incorporated alot of Halloween related words and noises into our practice today which really got the sprouts involved and focused! it was a great day!
WEDNESDAY: SHOW N TELL DAY!
We started our Wednesday with a little exercise outdoors, running laps around the dome and playscape to get out any extra energy we might have before heading off to montessori and group time!
Group A: Kai explored the nuts and bolts work, screwing and unscrewing, practicing his fine motor skills,  Kian worked with the Tree puzzle, while Ancel explored the magnets, he really enjoyed putting them positive to negative, and negative to negative, and explored the "resisitance".  We then brought out our Show N Tells, with majority of friends bringing items that start with letter Tt, telescope, tiger, tea, tractor, and much more! It was a success!
Group B: explored their show N tell, before heading outside to enjoy the wonderful morning.
After nap, we decorated a thank you card for Miss Daphne! as this was her last day at GS, we had a great last Spanish class, closing out the Transportation Lesson!
THURSDAY:
Group A - We went through our montessori work time smoothly, and during group time, we worked on decoration our Trees, friends glued their tree to paper, then freestyled painted with some watercolors. Some friends opted not to paint their entire tree, while some friends wanted to make sure to fill in all the white parts!
Group B - went through their letter Tt box and came across the Texas Flag, which prompted some Flag Art, each friend painted their own flag, and Ms Lizzie added stars to complete them!
Kinder Blossom - Took a pumpkin outside, and Ms arielle began to carve the pumpkin while friends watched, exploring the slimy pumpkin seeds!
After nap, We all gathered around the carpet for chinese. We started with counting out loud, then went through the colors! Everyone loved it, and thanked Ms Sui Gi as she left!
