Monday: Most friends were so excited to come back to school after a long, relaxing break! We shared stories of were we went for thanksgiving and all the awesome people we saw!
Group A: Introduction to letter "Nn"; we brainstormed words and wrote them on the dry erase board, sounding each of our names out as well trying to figure out if we had a Nn in our name or not, some friends did, and some friends did not! A few of our favorite N words were "Noah", "No", "Next", "Nature", and "Naomi".
Group B: Ms Lizzie also introduced letter N, they also went through their letter Nn box, and wrote down their group of letter Nn words!
Kinder Blossom:
After nap, we began our discussion of December, and Winter Holidays! For this week, we started with Hanukkah! Ben and Asher let us know that they are some of our fellow friends who celebrate Hanukkah at home! Arielle showed us the art project she set up, before we broke up into snack and centers. Around 4:00 we had a visitor come, Ms Neely, who taught a spanish class to pre tots, toddlers, and primary friends! She started with the colors in spanish, which many friends remembered!
Tuesday:
Group A: Kai and Jackson worked on the puzzle matching work, that involves puzzle pieces and their matching animals. while Tula worked on the the buttoning frame, and Genevieve and Kian worked on the wooden math puzzle.
Group B: They all worked on decorating their Night sky, using glue to put on their stars and moons!
After nap, Ms Vanessa visited the primary room for some free style yoga, stretches and breathing. using a breathing ball they each went around and had a turn. it was very Peaceful :)
Wednesday: Show N Tell!
Group A: This week for show n tell, we focused on the letter Nn, We started with Tula who brought in and wore her pig Nose! Kian brought in a Net and bugs that he showed his friends how to use. Noah showed us his Dalmatian Monster Truck, Julia showed us her special blanket, and Genevieve showed her Lovies, Giraffe and Racoon! Kai brought out his Harmonica and even played a little music for us, while Jackson showed everyone his Number book, and we read and counted out loud! I showed my special Necklace.
Group B and Kinder Blossom also used group time to explore what everyone brought for show N tell.
Thursday: Group A; today we explored Nature jars, filled with pecans, sticks, leaves, and sand and other items we can find outside or in our backyard! We then went out on a Nature walk to explore and find our own Natural objects :) it was a blast, and everyone found something special!
Group B: together, they worked at the table, making bird Nests. They used yarn for the nest, and construction paper and googly eyes!
Kinder Blossom: Ms Arielle and friends worked on their letters, then played a fun game of Number bingo! Listening intently, and focusing on what number Arielle calls! It was alot of fun!
Friday;
Today we welcomed a new friend, Rose! Friends helped show her around the different centers, group areas, and snack/lunch area.

We finished out our Hanukkah week with some art for the holiday, and a yummy cooking project, Challah bread with cheese or sunbutter! The Sprouts very much enjoyed it!
