MONDAY:
A great start to our day, with new montessori works out and great energies flowing. Asher worked with playdough and sea shell, while Addie exercised her fine motor skills with lacing buttons and string. Olive practiced pouring from one bottle to another.
Dom's group worked with the letter D. naming words and names of friends that start with "D".

We had yoga with Miss Liz, and then celebrated Paige's 5th birthday with vegan cupcakes!

Happy Birthday Paige!!!

TUESDAY:
Day 2 of our Recycling activities, and this activity was a big hit! We went through each class' recycling bins and chose some items to wash in the sensory tubs. Once done we put all items in bins to dry.
Inside we started our Montessori works, which included practicing pouring water and using a funnel to pour water into different sized containers.

WEDNESDAY:
Today started with a little frisbee practice, Asher, Byron, and Miss Lizzie, were tossing it back and forth to each other, and as more friends joined we played until it was time to go in.
Miss Lizzie gave a presentation to Wren, Olive, and Hank with a new montessori work. Color Matching and Recognition - 6 popsicle sticks with different colors on them and the matching piece to slide onto. Tristan and Teo worked on the sign language puzzle, while Ben worked with play dough. Hank worked on a continent puzzle.
Group 1 introduced more letter D words, and made dinosaurs out of their hand prints.
Group 2 practiced writing their names in their notebooks.

THURSDAY:
Today Group 1 played a fun math game.  Each friend took a turn rolling some dice, once they rolled it they counted the dots and using Dot markers, stamped on the letter "D"  to show how many dots they got!

After nap, Miss Daphne came for Spanish. We sang songs, played  games, and watched a short video

FRIDAY:
dance party/pajama/costume day was a giant hit! We also continued working on our group art activity, painting recycled materials blue and green.

We had several Spider man costumes, Teo dressed in his turtle costume, and Ivy and Miya were bunny rabbits! :)

For the Afternoon, we joined Chef Mike outside for our cooking project, making Spring Rolls. Friends got to pick their own leaf, wash it and sit at the table. Chef Mike passed around carrots, cilantro, and
cucumbers, and rice. Each friend had their own bowl, and got to roll up their spring roll and eat it! Many friends tried it, and really enjoyed it. Great ending to a Great Day!

Love
Dom-Dom
