Rody and Kody Party!

We started this friday, with our usual dance party! Colette brought in her mix, which featured Jackson 5, Carmen Miranda and much more! Most of my friends were excited for the change in music and danced and hula hooped the morning away!

Our Morning community activity was "Nature Collage Sun Catchers". We went on a short nature walk finding leaves, mulch, sticks and other items to add to the collage. Each kiddo added their collected items to a square of contact paper, and when they were done added another piece on top, and patted it down.

After nap, we sat, family style for our cooking project. We made turkeys out of wheat bread, sunflower butter, pretzels, and raisins! First, each friend used a cookie cutter to cut their bread into a circle, next they spread sun butter using plastic knives. They added pretzels as the feathers and raisins as the eyes and mouth. they had just as much fun making them as they did eating them, a few friends asking for seconds!

and last but not least, on this wonderful Friday, we had our well deserved Rody and Kody party for receiving 10 stickers! We enjoyed some yummy vegan soy coconut ice cream, and took turns on Rody and Kody out on the deck. Each friend bouncing higher than the last, they loved it!!
