Secret Sack

Good afternoon parents!  We certainly hope everyone had a fabulous weekend!  This morning the Shining Stars stayed inside during drop off due to the cold weather.  All of our friends enjoyed playing in centers while we waited to all of our friends to arrive.
Once all of our friends arrived to school we sat down for snack.  During snack Miss Arielle and Miss Lizzie introduced "Secret Sack.'  Secret Sack is a laundry sack that will be sent home everyday with a different Shining Star with a notebook in it.  Each kiddo will pick an object (NOT a toy) from his or her house to put in the sack and bring back to school.  Your job is to write down 3 clues that your child dictates you about the secret item in the sack.  For example today during snack we practiced how to play secret sack.  Miss Arielle was the first person to put an object in the sack.  Her clues were, 1. it is black 2. it is shiny 3. you wear them on your face.  The Shining Stars did really well guessing what they thought was in the sack, but didn't quite guess correctly.  Her secret item was her sunglasses.  We are very excited to see what everyone brings each day!  Leina is going to be the first person to take home the Secret Sack tonight.
