MONDAY:
A great way to start the week, reading new library books, and working on Montessori works.

TUESDAY:

i was out today, but heard it was full of fun, and interesting explorations!!

WEDNESDAY:
Today was special, as we had a new friend, Melanie, join us during our class and outside time.
We had a group Show N Tell, which was even more fun since we got to share with our new friend as well!! Lots of trucks, and cars from Noah, asher, and Teo, while Ivy showed off her pink soccer ball, Paislie showed her soccer medal, and Wren brought a somewhat old camera. He was excited to show us how it worked, and the magnifying glass "popped up"!
after nap, friends were encouraged to bring out their Show N tell and share with whomever they liked. Ms Daphne was not here this week, so we extended art/construction time, before heading outside.
THURSDAY:
It was a great day, as we received a special letter in the mail from our friend, Olive, in houston! We read the letter after nap, to all our friends, and talked about Olive, and how much we missed her! We all agreed we should respond to Olives letter!
After nap, many friends came by to tell us what they wanted to write in Olives letter, and many friends also made art pieces for her!
While friends decorated art, Ms Arielle also set up a great fine motor skilled/art activity! She cut up pieces of straw, and cut pieces of string, laid it out onto a tray and friends worked with their fine motor skills, sliding the straws onto the string making a bracelet or necklace. Many friends made them for their "mommy", it was a BIG hit!!
FRIDAY:

What better way to start our FRIDAY, then with Dance Party and a giant watermelon to quench the thirst of dancing!!! i cut it and handed it out, rhine and all, and that was the most exciting part, was watching my friends enjoy their melon then composting the rhine! It was also a cute sight to see everyone take big bites and watermelon juice drip onto their shirts as they enjoyed their piece!   I was not able to capture many photos as i was cutting the melon, BUT i guarantee there was nothing but smiles today on the playground, and in the classroom!
