Terrific Tuesday

Today we had fun in the sun before snack. During snack we talked about our Aquarena trip tomorrow and during circle time we look at pictures in an Aquarena book and talked about its past and present condition (it was Teaxas' first amusement park!) We checked out the mermaids, Ralph the swimming pig, the underwater clowns, underwater wedding, and rides it used to have. We also talked about what we will see there: turtles, fish, birds, plants, bugs, and maybe scuba divers!

While outside today we played with the parachute in many different ways and our friends even directed their own parachute games. We also admired the garden (the romanesco broccoli is looking awesome) and talked about the changes that spring brings. We discussed how tomorrow is the first day of spring 2013, also known as the spring equinox!

After nap we practiced writing our names and then did some yoga with Miss Abby. Olin joined us for the end of the day, which was awesome.
