Toddler visitors, Maya's bday & Rody and Kody Party!

Wow! What an event packed Friday we had here in the Shining Star room.  We had four visitors from the Toddler room join us for class this morning.  Theo, Alanna, Teo and Paislie had a blast spending the morning with the Shining Stars.

After our dance party outside this morning we headed inside for snack.  We did the Secret Sack that Miya brought back.  She brought a candle stick holder in the Secret Sack, Maya and Tristan guessed correctly.  After snack we gathered on the carpet to do some yoga before circle time.  Our Toddler friends helped lead yoga by picking yoga cards out of the basket and demonstrating how to do each pose.  Thanks guys!  We then had a quick circle time and headed back outside to paint our fences and playscape!  Maya helped Miss Toni get all the paint ready for all the classes as the rest of us marched outside.  All the kiddos did an absolutely fabulous job making our backyard gorgeous! 

We had a great lunch with our Toddler friends and the Shining Stars did a great job helping our younger friends clean up their lunches and put out their nap mats. Thanks Shining Stars!  After nap we got ready to party!  Maya’s mom brought in popsicles to celebrate Maya’s 5th birthday, which is Sunday.  Happy Birthday Maya!  After we washed out hands we got ready to party with Rody and Kody.  The Shining Stars were so excited to see our friends once again.  After two parties back to back all the kiddos had so much energy and were super ready to go outside and play in our newly decorated backyard. 

What an amazing way to finish the week!  We hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and we will see you on Monday!
