Wednesday started off inside again due to the cold. We started snack and slowly all of our friends arrived. Kinderblossom started right after snack, so Leina, Maya, and Zoey all headed out with Ariel. The weather had warmed up so we skipped our inside activities and went outside for the first time today. Everyone was in great spirits and full of energy outside. The girls made a "yucky" cake for everyone and Dax decided to make a chocolate cake for everyone. Paige and Colette got cold so they asked to borrow nicks jacket so the two of them walked around in it and it looked like the jacket was walking by itself because no legs or arms were visible.
Lunch was a lot of fun. Toni popped in for a bit to chit chat with all of our sproutlets. All the kids loves when Toni stays to talk for a while because she brings a great caffeinated energy to the class room. Transition from lunch to story time was very quick today, and everyone was ready for a nap. Everyone woke up from nap and promptly sat down for our afternoon snack without almost any prompts or instructions. We had a very nice snack time and played a few games at the table to get everyone's mind ready for Spanish. After we cleaned up our area we met on the big carpet for Spanish. Leona brought her daughter Alma to sing with us during Spanish class. Among their favorite is the wake up song in which they get to use bells to wake their friends up with one by one. Another song they enjoy is one where they get drum sticks to use, everyone does really well when they sing and have something to hold. Due to a string of potty related matters we did not have time for our art project and being 4 o'clock we headed outside. Many of the kids were energized from their long naps and so wanted to play non stop. Tristan and Dax were together most of the time outside. Zoey came up with the idea to find bugs and recruited nick to help. Tristan and Dax joins them once they found what looked to be a yellow lady bug. After a few minutes their interest in Henry the bug faded and he was spared a life of captivity to rejoin his habitats in the trees. It was a good end to the day at Greensprout.
