2-day Week!

Thursday we had a fun day inside. We had some fun with a slinky, did some cooking, and road on trains and airplanes. We read a book about a gorilla during circle time, learned about the letter “G” and introduced some new friends to the classroom. We also checked on our flowers, which were surprisingly in good shape! In the afternoon, we talked about colors and sang a color song in Spanish. Then we had an awesome Spanish time with Daphne where we had a lesson on numbers in Spanish!

On Friday, we started out in the Primary room. We had a blast with glow sticks and dance music. We had a chance to do some free-play while in the primary room and then finally headed back to our normal room. We had more glow-stick fun before lunch. After nap, Chef Mike came to our room to show us how to make guacamole. We practiced patience before getting a chance to mash our avocado with a fork. We squeezed and tasted limes as part of our project. Then, we headed for a bit to end the day!
