Awesome Tuesday!

It was a fabulous Tuesday full of fun. We started off the morning reading books with Miss. Toni, and using our bodies to stretch and make different animal poses. We talked about the sprinkles outside, and what day of the week it was. We went on to eat a delicious snack just before heading outside. While outside we discussed caring for plants, and how they need love, sun, water, and patience for them to grow. We got our green thumbs out and started loosening the soil along the fence in the back yard. Kiddos were seen using shovels and rakes of different sizes, as well as their hands! Every one had a chance to sprinkle some seeds over the soil, mix them into the dirt, and finally to help water the garden with the hose. After, we had free-play, and it was soon time for lunch and nap. After nap, Ms. Abby Nagler came to visit us for yoga. We had a great time mimicking different animals with our bodies, and giving lots of big hugs at the end. We had snack and headed outside to end our day!

What wonderful little gardeners and yoga enthusiasts our Sprouts are! I love that each one of them got a plush animal to help them through yoga class...what a great idea. Theo is quite the little gentleman helping the quintessential lady Olive ( look at that delicate pointed toe) put her shoe back on in the play yard...super sweet!
